Project Developer

Onshore Wind

We're looking for a Project Developer specialising in onshore wind projects for a permanent position in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess new project opportunities, both greenfield and brownfield
  • Secure land through lease or purchase agreements, managing relationships with landowners and local stakeholders
  • Lead the full permitting process, including environmental impact assessments (EIA), zoning, and grid connection applications
  • Coordinate with legal, technical, and engineering teams to ensure project feasibility
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and risk profiles throughout the development lifecycle
  • Liaise with municipalities, permitting authorities, grid operators (TSOs/DSOs), and other regulatory bodies
  • Prepare internal investment memos and support the transition to construction/asset management teams
  • Track policy, market, and regulatory developments relevant to renewable energy projects


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in renewable energy project development (solar, wind, BESS preferred)
  • Strong understanding of permitting processes, land use planning, and grid interconnection
  • Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required
