We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join our Renewables team in Italy for the construction of utility-scale solar projects.
Your role will encompass:
- Studies deeply project SOW including engineering drawings, BOM, material purchase orders and subcontract requisitions
- Reports project progress to the Project Manager
- Oversees, with the help of site engineers, subcontractor's installation works
- Reports daily about the material received onsite
- Liaise, in collaboration with Procurement and Logistics departments, with suppliers to arrange the material deliveries
- Manage the site facilities from a technical and administrative point of view. Rent offices, provide the necessary utilities (water, electricity, internet), organize cleaning activities stipulating contract with local suppliers
- Liaise with DL and CSE where necessary
- Be nominated as safety responsible of the site (“preposto alla sicurezza”)
What you bring to the role:
- Minimum 5 years working experience as site manager within construction
- University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Civil Engineering is a plus
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office and AUTOCAD
- Leadership and negotiation skills
- Attention to details
- Willingness to relocate
- Fluent knowledge of Italian and English
